Mark your calendars, as we will once again be having our Spaghetti
Banquet to recognize the volunteers and youth of 1st Waterloo. We will also hold the advancement ceremonies
for youth that are moving on to the next level in Scouting. There is a minimal cost of $4.00 per head to
help cover some of the expenses of the dinner.
This will be taking place on Tuesday
April 7, 2015 and it will take the place of our usual meetings. All sections are encouraged to participate
along with the immediate family of each registered member. It will start at 5:45PM and run until
approximately 8:20PM.
This dinner will be taking place at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 10 Lorraine Ave, Kitchener. It is at the corner of Lorraine and River
Rd. There is a church on each
corner of this intersection. This church
is set farther back so it looks more like it is on River Road. Please
note that caffeinated drinks such as tea, coffee and cola’s are not permitted
on the church premises.
The itinerary is
as follows: -arrive @ 5:45 PM and find
a place to sit.
-dinner will be served at approximately 6:00PM and last until 6:50 PM.
-6:50-7:30 PM recognize the youth and volunteers, and hold advancement ceremonies
-7:30-7:50 PM close with a cake celebrating our accomplishments
THERE IS A
COST OF $4.00 PER HEAD FOR THIS DINNER
We
also ask that you bring your own plates, cutlery, and glasses. This is also another Scouting tradition that
serves to do our part by limiting as much as possible the amount of waste going
into the environment. We will however
provide dessert plates.
